Product Description

Mega Coat is available in Flat or Gloss Sheens. Mega Coat is a fluid applied elastomeric paint type coating for exterior applications that exhibits a flat sheen. We recommend using Mega Coat Flat with our Texture Mix 6060 and our CB-100 products to complete a superior “lace pattern” decorative concrete overlay system. It may be applied with a brush, roller, or spray.

Advantages

Mega Coat Flat/Gloss provides a lasting, maintenance free, flexible coating. This coating is designed to provide a continuous, seamless, durable, weather resistant membrane. Mega Coat is especially useful where thin sections are desirable and where vibration and heavy traffic occur. It is uniform in color and resists discoloration due to exposure sunlight and weathering. Mega Coat Flat/Gloss is available in standard colors and color matching is available (charges apply).

Packaging and Mixing

Mega Coat Flat/Gloss is packaged in a 5 gallon (210MC5) or 55 gallon (210MC55) container. It is recommended that this product is not reduced with water before use. Shake or stir liquid thoroughly before use. Mega Coat Flat is packaged ready to use and may be applied with a brush, roller, or spray.

Coverage

Approximately 200 sq ft per gallon when applied as recommended. DO NOT apply below 40 Degrees, or when there is a threat of rain, dew and frost.  All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from oil and chemicals that will interfere with adhesion.

Dry time @ 70 F and 50% RH: to touch 30 minutes -to recoat 2 hours

Flash Point - 201F closed gap

Elongation - 10 MIL = 300%

Tensile Strength - 10 mil = 288PSI
