Elastomeric Coatings

This specialty coating is ideal for bridging the tiny cracks and holes in a wall. Its thick rubber material stretches and contracts with hot and cold temperatures, preventing gaps from widening as well. Best for housing materials that are prone to cracking--like stucco, stone, and masonry. Elastomeric paints provide waterproofing and prevent wind-driven rain penetration that create cracks in the first place.

What is Ceramic Microsphere Paint?

Ceramic microspheres were invented as an outgrowth from the manufacture of solid ceramic beads. Because the microspheres are made of ceramic, they provide the additional benefits of high heat and chemical resistance. Ceramic microspheres are tiny spheres many times smaller than the width of a single strand of human hair. They are used in paint formulations to increase solids, enhance properties and improve processability. Unlike the more commonly used irregular-shaped fillers, such as calcium carbonate, the spherical shape of ceramic microspheres allows them to roll evenly over one another, much like ball bearings. This effect, combined with the intrinsic hardness of ceramics, is what gives ceramic microspheres so many useful properties in paints and coatings: This insulating ceramic layer provides multiple benefits of  Fire Resistance,  UV Protection, Superior Mildew Resistance, Corrosion Resistance, Waterproofing and helps protect the environment with zero to low VOC's.

Do Ceramic Paint Coatings Really Work?

Insulating Paint can be used on any painted surface and increases energy efficiency by reducing heat transfer through walls, ceilings and roofs.  Insulating "ceramic-filled" paint is ideal for use on all buildings. On your house exterior or interior walls, it looks just like ordinary paint. Ceramic materials possess unique heat-resistant and insulation properties. They block heat radiation (loss or gain) and they dissipate heat rapidly.

For the winter, heat normally lost through the interior wall is reflected back indoors by the ceramic paint. This not only reduces your heating bills, but it makes you feel warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer, and allows you to set your thermostat back to save energy.

In the summer, you get the greatest reduction in air conditioning costs and improvement in comfort by painting the exterior of your house with ceramic-filled paint.

Application of an elastomeric ceramic coating to your existing roof with a highly reflective color is effective for lowering cooling costs and it can increase the life of your roof.

Other Suggested Product Uses:

Metal Storage Tanks which provide storage of liquid products are normally inventoried in bulk using product gravity and temperature to establish true net gains or losses.  Example:  1 Gallon of gasoline at 60 degrees, regardless of the gravity is 1 true gallon, the higher the temperature, the "gallon" of gasoline shrinks, the colder the temperature, the gasoline expands in volume. Controlling heat gain and loss can signficantly affect reported inventories and help correct product loss. A tremenous amount of effort is extended by the oil companies to obtain true inventories and accounting of product shipped thru pipelines.

Ceramic coatings help reduce radiant heat for Pipelines, Heating & Air Conditioning Ducts, Shipping Containers, Silos. Metal Buildings, Park Benches, Childrens Playground Rides, as well as Amusement Park Benches and Rides.
